ROBOTmaker News / Blog

Oct  2008 - During October we've been streamlining our new product portfolio and working on a development version of the nano chassis. This development version allows students to assemble robot controller in a position that is easier to handle during the development stage of a project.

Sept 2008 - During the summer period we have been working heavily on various college projects which has taken up all of our research and development capacity.

Over the next months we'll be streamlining our new product portfolio and after many requests we'll be focusing on the completion of our nano chassis range of swarm robot kits.

Development of customised robot swarm solutions for your college robot project.

ROBOTmaker can provide total swarm solutions including customised robot chassis or special versions of our standard robot chassis. We have our own small CNC prototyping workshop were customised designs can be machined according to your own specifications.

Our CNC machine can machine small batches of  custom robot designs. The maximum size we can handle is 1000mm x 600mm.

Ideally we'll need drawings in one of the following formats:

CDR - CorelDRAW

DXF (RT12/LT2) - AutoCad

DWG (2000) - AutoCad

PLT - HPGL plot data

or you can  mark-up changes to our standard robot chassis design which you can download from here.

School, College, University Project Support

Autonomous robotics (AR) are no longer restricted to the electronics labs but are now regarded as serious study aids in in a wide range of other study areas. AR is recognised as excellent tool for demonstration of concepts, theories and principles in almost any subject,  such as biology and  biomimetics, engineering, mathematical modeling and simulation.

If you're still searching for a challenging project this term,  then take a look at our research pages and  forum for ideas for your robot project.
