What is Biomimetics? It is the abstraction of good design from Nature.

Micro Geared Motors - 40050, 40051, 40052 (available soon)

The motors are high precision planetary (epicyclic) gearbox coupled to a 3 pole 10mm flat sided ferrite motor. Most have an easy to mount with 2 mounting flanges.

Output Shaft

All these planetary geared motor have a unique cross-shaped output shaft which is ideal for zero slip transmission. To facilitate fixing of wheels, we have created an optional  adapter kit consisting of a small cross-shaped adapter that can be screwed onto wheels.

40050 Micro Geared Motor (120 rpm)

The 40050 is very powerful for its small size. It is almost the same length as the Nano motor, but much more powerful and higher gear ratio for mounting of wheel directly to the motor..

40051 Micro Geared Motor (85 rpm)

Similar to 40050 but long, very powerful and without mounting tabs. Will need to be fixed using straps (e.g. tie-wraps)

40052 Micro Geared Motor (70 rpm)

Similar to 40050 but 12mm diameter body and more powerful .

The larger 40052 output drive fits snuggly directly onto a Lego wheel.
