Other Prototype Models

Below are some other models that have been used for various projects or are under development. These are not included in our current production program, but are presented here just for interest.

If your college or club project requires a special chassis design then just let us know. We can develop custom solutions in a short time frame. Please contact sales@robotmaker.co.uk

Nano Belt Drive Version

10010 - Nano Chassis -

Belt Drive - v10

This chassis was machined from one solid block of aluminium. It houses the  two Nano-class geared motors and has a slot for 1-2 Lipo battery cells.

The idea was to create a simple designed chassis that could be  machined or drilled easily for developing your own prototypes.

Prototype only

10009 - Nano Chassis -

Belt Drive - v9

This chassis is a solid plastic moulded chassis,  for easy assembly and light weight. It was designed to accommodate multiple PCB's for many robot types.

This plastic house could easily be machined or drilled for prototyping.

It was decided not to continue with the development as due to the low volumes, the moulding costs were too expensive.

Nano Worm Drive Version

10031 - Nano Chassis -

Worm Drive - 1

Prototype only
Nano Direct Drive Version

10051 - Nano Chassis

Direct Drive - 1

The objective was to create a compact 4-wheeled  Nano-size robot chassis, by embedding a nano-geared motor within the wheel axle! One side of the axle was direct drive and other wheel was free rotating from a ball bearings around the end of each motor

An  acrylic housing is used to house the assembly.

A low profile assembly with  high traction.

Prototype only
