Calibrating the LEDs and Sensors Place the IR-CF about 5cm above a flat table; preferable on a surface that has been covered with back cloth or card. For best results, adjust the IR-LEDs a few degrees more forward and the IR sensors also slightly forward facing. Simple Interfacing of the IR-Control Freak to the Basic Stamp (TM) or other Microcontroller *Basic Stamp is a trade mark of Parallax Inc.
Infrared Control Freak can easily be interface to the Basic Stamp, Atom Microcontroller, BasicX, OOPic, PICAXE, Handyboard and many other Microcontroller systems can. It even has an onboard voltage regulator to allow you to connect a 9v PP3 battery directly. Or it can connect directly to your development board such as the Growbot, Boebot, MKIII, etc.
